Create your customers' avatar | 2nd Webinar


Knowing your customers is very important. This was the main topic of the 2nd Webinar of Deepak 
Kankraju sir on Digital marketing. The webinar started exactly at 9:05 PM and ended by 10:30 PM. 

FOCUS is key to success:- Focus like laser rays. The first thing was to focus on the webinar class. 
Distraction is a drug in today’s world. The whole business is running on attention. So, everyone wants 
your attention via phone, message, email, social media or any other mode. But it’s your duty to focus 
on what you want not what others want. Others want your attention so they try different methods to get
 your attention.
The webinar started with how we can get expertise in certain fields? Obviously the first is the Learning 
method next is doing method and the most important 3rd is the teaching method. If you teach someone
 then you learn a lot during teaching.
During class, he emphasized on mistakes that we make during our work. It is important to make 
mistakes during work and learn from those mistakes. Mistakes make a strong foundation in learning 
better skills. So, keep moving and make a strong foundation by learning from mistakes. 

Communication:-  In marketing, Communication is the most important key element. While conveying

 your personal message or your product’s message be authentic. Being authentic generates authority 

in people’s minds. Which gives a better brand value and best return in the future. Listen to customers’ 

feedback be authentic. Show them your real-life and real value. People are smart and they know who 

is faking and who is real.


People with more experience in life is a better marketer. People love to listen to stories. People who 
have traveled a lot, learned new languages and have more hobbies are able to tell more stories. 
During training, Deepak sir told us to travel solo, learn a new language and do some hobbies work. 
It will enhance your life’s dimension and you shall be able to share more experience with people via
 stories. I found it matching with myself. I know 4 languages and try to learn new hobbies. Currently, 
I am learning skating and in 30 days i learned a lot. People in social media are appreciating me for
 new hobbies that I have. I share them stories about my new skill and they love to listen about it.
 Now I will keep moving forward in learning more and more skills. 
Even this digital marketing is my new skill. In December 2018 I had started digital marketing and 
dropshipping business and i can say i have learned a lot.

Customers' Avatar:-The audience is the key to success for your business. Many businesses start without knowing their
 audience and their problems. They just create products assuming that such a problem exists and
 they put their product in the market. Ultimately they fail in selling products at a big scale. So, it most 
important to know your audience and create an Avatar of your audience. If you really know the avatar
of your audience then it becomes easy to communicate with them. While writing an mail or messaging
 your customer customize for them. The tone of the email should be friendly and guide them to what
 you want from them in a very friendly manner. Know them via interaction, call, and survey. As much
 as you know them you shall be very effective in writing them mail and communicating with them. You
 shall know their pain point and how to resolve it. It makes them feel special and they connect with 
your brands easily. If you communicate effectively and then it becomes easy to sell products and 
services to them.

Quora and Reddit are one of the biggest platforms where you can find such a discussion under 
different sections.

If you learn new things, you will always find it awkward and awkwardness is the signal that you are
 learning new things. Just involve yourself fully in awkwardness and you will definitely learn new 
things. While writing this long post about 2nd webinar is also very awkward for me but really it made
 me easy to write in my second blog post. For this awkwardness, i would like to quote my instances.
 At the job that I am currently doing, it is nowhere related to digital marketing. But it was my desire 
to work in this field and by watching videos from youtube i could learn myself and designed my first 
website in Shopify and started selling products via digital marketing. It was really awkward but it is
 giving fruits. 

In summary, I can say:
1. Learn to communicate and practice it. It will make you a better communicator.
2. Be authentic to the audience
3. Before starting any product see what customer really wants. What's their pain area. Create a 
product around what they want.
4. Awkwardness in learning shows that you are learning new things in life.
5. Learn from the mistakes and keep moving, it makes a strong foundation in learning.
